Scientific interest: 

  • enzymatic and microbial bioreactors 
  • the surface and volume immobilisation of enzymes 
  • membrane bioreactors
  • the classical (pressure, diffusive) and membrane processes in product separation and purification
  • polymer carriers in local therapy
  • wastewater treatment

 

Subjects for students of ChPE:

1o degree:

  • Heterogenic system separation (lecture, in Polish),
  • Physicochemical base of chemical engineering (exercises, in Polish)

2o degree:

  • Biotechnology process engineering (lecture, in Polish),
  • Description of bioreactor processes (lecture, in Polish),
  • Biotechnology process engineering (lecture, in English),
  • Diploma seminar (in Polish and English)

 

Subject of current Diploma Thesis: 

  • Drug mass transport from polymeric carriers
  • Cellulolytic compounds hydrolysis (membrane bioreactor)
  • Catalyst immobilisation in hydrogels
  • Membrane separation from natural sources or the reaction products
