Scientific interest: 

  • Using microwaves in various chemical engineering processes: drying, extraction, distillation 
  • Revealing of specific microwave effect on the biological active materials
  • Thermal processes

 

Subjects for students of ChPE:

1o degree:

  • Heterogenic system separation (project, in Polish),
  • Physicochemical base of chemical engineering (exercises, in Polish)

2o degree:

  • Microwaves and other advanced thermal technologies in chemical engineering (lecture, in English),
  • Transport phenomena in chemical processes (lecture, in English)

 

Subject of current Diploma Thesis: 

  • Modelling of heat transfer process during microwave drying of grains
  • Determination of drying balance during microwave drying of porous material
  • Foam separation
  • Pyrolysis of waste gases with microwaves
  • Microwave sterilization
